AUSTRALIA’S LARGEST OFF-ROAD TRIATHLON

Welcome to XTERRA Dunsborough – part of the World’s premier off-road triathlon series – conducted by Rapid Ascent.

Taking place in the pristine natural landscapes of Meelup Regional Park, this will be an all-action weekend that anyone can be part of with long, short and kids off-road triathlons in a friendly race atmosphere that’s welcoming of everyone.

NEW for 2024 is the inclusion of 2 x TRAIL RUNNING RACES through beautiful Meelup Regional Park, with 10km and 21km options. These are truly spectacular courses – as good as trail running gets!

Triathletes will race through paradise too – swimming in the turquoise waters of protected Geographe Bay, mountain biking along flowing single track lined with wildflowers and trail running along a sculptured granite coastline.

All events are part of the XTERRA Global Series with an international reach and following. Make sure YOU ARE PART OF IT!

The location and course

XTERRA Dunsborough is an event that will go straight to the memory bank as not only an awesome challenge, but also for the sheer beauty of the landscapes you race through.

Dunsborough on beautiful Geographe Bay, WA, is renowned for its stunning coastal trails, beautiful blue water and awe-inspiring scenery, and that’s why it’s the chosen spot for XTERRA’s return to Australia.

Dunsborough is a very popular holiday centre and offers a huge range of accommodation options, plenty of touristy things to do – ranging from award winning wineries to caves, surf beaches and bushland to explore – all within close reach of the vibrant event centre.

“The course is amazing – a great swim, rock hopping along the coast, able to pick up a bit of speed on the trail run on the way back and then the mountain bike course just speaks for itself – it’s a mountain bikers dream with heaps of single track and twists and turns.
