Long Course X-Adventure

The Long Course race is confirmed as the following for 2020:

  • Triathlon WA off-road State Championships 2020
  • ITU World Championships Qualifying Event 2020


Triathlon WA off-road State Championships 2020  

Due to the Long Course event’s inclusion as a Triathlon WA off-road State Championship in 2020, there are minimum age limits for this event in accordance with Triathlon WA policy. Rapid ascent regrets that we are unable to include younger competitors this year; our approach has always been to welcome competitors of any age. We appreciate your understanding.

Relay team members must be 17 years of age as at 31 December 2019.
Individual entrants must be 18 years of age as at 31 December 2019.


Selection Consideration

Triathlon WA off-road State Championships:-

  • To be considered for the WA State Champsionship awards, you must be a Triathlon WA member (TWA).
  • If you did NOT input your TWA member number in the online entry process, please email your membership number to [email protected] asap.

ITU World Championships Qualifying Event 2020:-

  • To qualify for the Almere ITU Multisport World Championships in September 2020, you must be a Triathlon Australia member. Ensure you are signed up by midnight the Thursday prior to race weekend. For membership information CLICK HERE


Day Membership

  • Any individual competitors who are not TA or TWA members require a One Day Membership to compete in the Long Course event; this will be charged automatically during the entry process ($10).
  • A fee of $10 will automatically apply for all teams.
  • Please note that competing under a One Day Membership does not entitle you to Triathlon WA off-road State Championships awards or ITU World Championships Qualifying.

  • Entry fees outlined below are in (AUD).
  • The Standard Fee applies from the time entries open in October until online entries close at 8:00am (AEDT) Wednesday 1 April 2020.
  • Entries received on the day are those received at race registration.

Change my entry details

All changes must be communicated in writing via email prior to 8:00am AEDT Wednesday 1 April 2020.
Please contact [email protected] if you would like to change your registration. After 8:00am AEDT Monday 30 March 2020 a $10 fee will apply for any changes. 

Refund policy

If a competitor withdraws prior to 8:00am AEDT, Tuesday 24th March 2020 they have the option of a credit or refund:

  • CREDIT: Credit towards a subsequent event less a 15% administration fee of the entry fee paid with a maximum of $50. Any payment for Personal Accident Insurance or SMS results service will be refunded in full.
  • REFUND:  Refund can be offered less an administration fee of 20% of the entry fee paid with a minimum of $10 and a maximum of $50. Any payment for Personal Accident Insurance or SMS results service will be refunded in full.

If a competitor withdraws after 8:00am AEDT, Tuesday 24th March 2020 , no refund or credit will be issued.

In the event that the race is cancelled , no refund will be given, however every effort will be made to conduct a modified event in a safe environment.

Other notes

  • Individual entries are NOT transferrable. In the case of team entries, at least one team member must remain the same as when initially entered.
  • Please contact [email protected] to make changes to your entry. After 8:00am AEDT Monday 30 March 2020 a $10 fee will apply for any changes. 
  • Changes that affect categories or entry fee pricing MUST be communicated to Rapid Ascent, failure to abide may result in disqualification.
  • Changes to a team which result in an increase in entry fee will require the difference to be paid. No refunds will be given for changes made to entries where a lower entry fee would have applied.
  • Payment for online entries is via 128-bit encrypted credit card transaction.
